Phone scams – the new normal
Are you worried about phone scams? It was never something that used to worry me, but as they are now so common, they are beginning to worry me more and more. At the moment, I have got this person calling me up all of the time telling me that I have won a camera. I know that I have not won a camera as I have not entered any competitions. It is kind o freaky how these companies get your details and start phoning you.
One of the girls that I work with at https://charlotteaction.org/edgware-escorts was really badly ripped off by one of these companies. She had made a lot of money at the Edgware escorts over a six month period, and all of a sudden someone phoned up and offered her an investment plan. It involved her going down to the bank to transfer a certain amount of money to a particular account. She was told that it was a unique opportunity, and not to tell anybody about it.
Of course, the company did not want her to tell anybody about it. It turned out to be a complete fraud, and after she had transferred her money, the mobile phone number she had as a point of contact, disappeared. It was only then she went to the police and contacted her back. It turned out that she had been subject to serious fraud and it really upset. She lost a fair bit of money from her earnings at Edgware escorts.
Where do these companies get your details from? It can be hard to say, but most of the time it turns out your mobile phone company can be to blame, and also club card companies. A lot of club card companies are a lot less honest than you may think, and some of them, may even just be set up to get hold of people’s details. Since my friend here at Edgware escorts was subject to this massive fraud, I am really careful and do not sign up for any club card schemes. I think that legitimate companies such as Tesco and Boots are okay, but otherwise you do need to be careful.
In general, you should be very careful and not give your details out at all unless you know the company. If an offer sounds too good to be true, it is in general too good to be true. These days I keep my details to myself, and don’t respond when companies or people phone me up with goofy offers. My friend at Edgware escorts who lost all of that money is not likely to get it back. She sent it off voluntarily and the back account it was transferred to, has been closed down and the police are having a problem tracking what had happened to the money. Remember that your money is your own, and that you should not let go of it. Sure invest it, but it is best to meet someone face to face in order to invest your money.
